This exhibit, commissioned by the North Carolina Museum of Natural Sciences, celebrates our abstraction of nature’s infinite complexity into patterns through the scientific process, and through our perceptions. It brings to light the similarity of patterns in our universe, across all scales of space and time. In other words... It's just really cool.

Space used to feel further away than it does these days. Less out of reach than it maybe has in the past. We still know little of what goes on out there and, there's something comforting in that. This little film was put together by Sander van den Bergis using image sequences from NASA's Cassini and Voyager missions.
